Fake woman doctor

Published March 18, 2018

THIS refers to news report ‘Woman quack working as doctor at JPMC remanded to prison’ (March 14).

The allegation against the woman is false on the very face of it. How can a quack clandestinely work in hospital without the connivance of doctors concerned? Either the hospital administration had employed her or else the doctors concerned had privately employed her.

Far from a quack, even a qualified doctor cannot work in a hospital without tthe administration’s permission and/or the doctors on duty.

In either case she was the victim of circumstances. In my view she was innocent. The criminal, if any, is either the hospital administration which employed her or the doctors on duty who had privately employed her to assist them. It is yet another case of exploitation of unprotected and poor unemployed woman.
