Quetta City, DFA Quetta win

QUETTA: On the seventh day of the PPL Balochistan Football Cup, four matches were played in three divisions of the province. Quetta City beat Pishin 4-2 while DFA Quetta beat Chagai 1-0 in a close contest.

Lehri continued with good performance to beat Jhal Magsi 2-1 in the Naseerabad division. Zeeshan of Lehri was awarded the Man of the Match for scoring two goals. In the Kalat division, Kalat beat Mastung with 2-1. Muhammad Naeem, was the Man of the Match. No matches were played in the Zhob division due to heavy rain.

The Qualifying round will be played until Feb 26 followed by the final round starting March 1.

Thirty Eight teams comprising nearly 700 players will play 80 matches in the tournament. The quarter finals will be played on March 12 and 13 respectively with the semi-finals on March 28 and final on March 30 at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium (Malibagh), Quetta.
