THE showbiz industry was shocked by the death of veteran TV actor Qazi Wajid.

Qazi was among the pioneers of Pakistan’s teleivision industry. He started off his career with radio in 1956, and also worked in theatre. He was famous for his witty dialouges and emotional performances as well. Qazi worked in TV dramas like Khuda Ki Basti, Dhoop Kinaray, Ankahi, Hawwa Ki Beti and Aangan Terha.

His performance was so faithful that he slowly became an unforgettable actor. He recieved President’s Pride of Performance award for his contributions to the showbiz industry. His coulleague and veteran actor Qavi Khan paid him tribute by saying: “He was not only a great actor but also a great human bieng”. He said his works and services would allways be remembered.
