MANSEHRA: A woman was killed and two others were injured as a mud house collapsed in Mansehra on Saturday.

The incident occurred in Khaki area in the wee hours on Saturday.

The injured were identified as Mohammad Ayub and his son while the deceased was the sister of Ayub.

According to the police, the victims had come here as guest from Jehangira area.

In another incident, a passenger van rammed into a heavy rock after the driver lost control over it in Susail Gali area on the Mansehra-Oghi road, injuring 15 people on board the vehicle.

The police and locals rushed to the scene and retrieved the injured from the twisted metal of the wagon and rushed them to civil hospital in Oghi. The five critically injured were referred to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital. Oghi police after lodging FIR started investigation to ascertain the exact cause behind the accident.
