ISLAMABAD: Col (Retd.) Wasim Ahmed Khan was re-elected as the president of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) on Sunday.

Lt. General (retired) Javed Iqbal was elected as the patron of the federation.

Col Wasim was elected unopposed in the presence of representatives of Pakistan Olympic Association and Pakistan Sports Board.

The new patron replaced Ifthikhar Ahmed Tabassum who has been made as advisor to Federation.

Murtaza Hassan Bangash was elected as the secretary general and Jalal Hayder Khan as secretary finance. Whereas, Sher Muhammad Tareen was elected as senior vice president and Saba Shamoon Jadoon as president women wing.

The house also approved names for several other slots.
