Industrialist Muhammad Azam Saigol breathed his last on Wednesday while undergoing medical treatment in Boston, USA.
Born on November 17, 1951, the Oxford educated Saigol held vast experience in handling big industrial concerns and corporations.
He held key executive and directorial positions at Kohinoor Industries Ltd, Saritow Spinning Mills, Pak Elektron Ltd and Azam Textile Mills.
Saigol remained a member of the board of directors of Pakistan International Airlines from 2013 to 2016, and also led the national flag carrier as its chairman during 2016.
The date and timings for the funeral arrangement will be announced later.
