Islamabad traffic

Published January 22, 2018

COMMUTING from Islamabad to DHA 1 and Bahria 8 is an unnerving experience that should not be attempted by the faint-hearted.

There are two major traffic bottlenecks obstructing smooth flow. They are Amaar Chowk and Defence Chowk near Fauji Foundation Hospital. These crossings invariably consume more than 30 minutes of the commuters. The matter can easily be handled by deputing two traffic wardens from 5pm to 7 pm daily.
