KASUR: An eight-year-old girl has been missing in Road Kot since Thursday evening.

The incident panicked the people of the city, for 10 minors, including girls, were abducted and killed in 2017 while one girl, who was kidnapped and later found unconscious in a deserted place, was fighting for life in the Lahore Children’s Hospital for the last two months.

Zainab, daughter of Muhammad Amin, went missing on Thursday evening when she went to a tuition centre and never returned. This is the first incident of 2018.

The parents of Zainab have gone to Saudi Arabia to perform Umra. The family first searched the girl on their own and later alerted the police. According to police, it was investigating the matter from various angles.

INJURED: A labourer sustained serious injuries when the roof of an under-construction house collapsed on Friday at Bhai Kot locality in Pattoki.

The labourer was identified as Abdul Ghafoor.

Locals and rescue teams took him out from the debris and shifted him to the Pattoki Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where he was stated to be critical.

Police are investigating.
