QUETTA: Three workers were killed and one was injured while six others were trapped when a landslide hit a coal mine in the Shahrag area of Harnai district on Friday.

Official sources claimed that 10 coal miners were working deep inside the a coal mine in the Shahrag coal field area when the landslide occurred.

An official from the local administration said that 10 workers were stuck inside as the entrance to the mine collapsed due to the landslide. He added that rescue workers and other miners rushed to the site as soon as they heard what had happened and started helping out.
