MANSEHRA: A man was killed and his wife and four children sustained critical injures when their car plunged into a deep ravine in Kotkay area here on Saturday.

The family of Amanullah was on way to Kaghan valley from Swat for picnic, but as they reached Kotkay their car fell into a ravine. Local people reached the scene and retrieved the injured and the dead and shifted them to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital.

Amanullah died instantly and his wife, Zahida Perveen, and cousin, Samiba Bibi and children Zaryab, Ilyas, Abbas and Kashif, received critical injures.

Doctors said that two of the injured were referred to Ayub Medical Complex, Abbottabad, in critical condition. Police lodged an FIR and started further investigations.
