MULTAN, Aug 20: Members of the High Court Bar Association, Multan bench, staged a sit-in on Wednesday to protest against absence of any representation of south Punjab in the recently-appointed judges to the Lahore High Court.

The sit-in was organized by the Bar association. Prominent among the protesters were Pakistan Bar Council vice-president Mian Abbas Ahmed, HCBA senior vice-president Rao Jamshed Ali, Haider Jamal Maitla, Kunwar Younas, Abid Hussain Bhutta, Mazhar Jameel Qureshi and Haider Javed Gardezi.
