NOWSHERA: Pakistan People’s Party co-chairpersons and former president Asif Ali Zardari has hinted at formation of the next coalition government with ANP and JUI-F in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Addressing a public meeting at the residence of former federal minister Mian Muzaffar Shah, he said that he was aware of the problems of Pakhtuns. He said that he was ready to join hands with ANP and JUI-F for solution of those problems.

PPP provincial president Eng Humayun Khan, Rahimdad Khan, Fazl-i-Kareem Kundi, Najmud Din Khan, Mir Haider Khan, Behramand Tangi, Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti and Mian Muzaffar Shah were also present on the occasion.

Mr Zardari also visited the residence of PPP divisional president Laiquat Shabab and addressed party workers there. He said that he could felt the pain of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as he had felt the pain of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and others political leaders, who were killed in terrorist attacks.

PPP leader says PTI failed to deliver in KP

Mr Zardari said that PPP leaders and workers rendered sacrifices for the cause of democracy and rule of law in the country. He said that like PPP, other political parties including ANP also rendered sacrifices during militancy.

He urged ANP and JUI-F to join hands with PPP to solve the problems of the people in the province. However, he made it clear that next chief minister would be from PPP otherwise the party would sit on opposition benches.

Mr Zardari said that PTI government in the province failed to deliver. He said that PTI chief Imran Khan himself admitted that his party’s government failed to serve the people. He said that huge funds lapsed in the province as PTI did not how to govern. He said that Imran Khan was cricket player and didn’t know politics.

Mr Zardari said that PPP had formed government with 90 seats and its performance was matchless. He said that PPP had some internal problems and if those were removed, it would become a stronger party again.

He said that PPP gave name to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and constitution to Pakistani people. He said that PPP initiated Benazir Income Support Programme that was running successfully. He said that PPP would start youth programme across the country to provide skill development opportunity to them along with stipend.

Speaking on the occasion, Mian Muzaffar Shah asked the PPP leadership to sit with workers to know their problems before the upcoming general elections. He said that they had rendered a lot of sacrifices for the party.

Eng Humyun Khan said that PTI government failed to serve people. He said that Imran Khan did not fulfil the promises he made with people. He said that PTI did not revamp education and health departments.

Laiquat Shabab scriticised Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and said that he always betrayed political parties and changed his loyalty.
