SWABI: An alleged facilitator of militants was arrested in an action here on Friday.

Swabi DSP Izhar Shah said that the operation against suspected militants would continue under the National Action Plan, adding police had arrested one of the facilitators.

He said that the arrested facilitator was wanted to Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in 15AA/34, 324, 302 and section 5 of the explosives act.

The facilitator belongs to mountainous Gadoon Amazai region and there were proofs that he had links with militants.

Police on Friday also arrested a smuggler and recovered one kilogramme charas from his car.

The arrested smuggler identified as Kifayatullah belongs to Peshawar.
