PMDC registration

Published August 3, 2017

I APPLIED to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council for full registration/membership on an urgent basis with a Rs1,000 fee on July 6.

As per PMDC policy, urgent cases are to be processed within three to four working days, but to my dismay it has been 15 days and there is no response.

I have been continuously approaching the PMDC on the telephone number 051-9106151-4 and 051-9106166 to know the status of my case, but after listening to my request, the staff on the other side either keeps me on hold or drops the call. This has happened more than a dozen times.

The authorities concerned, including secretary of the PMDC, should look into my case and I should be informed of the status of my application.
