No ice cream maker needed and with just four ingredients, this is the easiest, smoothest and yummiest ice cream you can make on your own! Speckled with chocolate chips, this is a totally cool way to beat the heat!

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup hot water

• 2 table-spoons instant coffee granules

• 1 can sweetened condensed milk

• 3 packets or 600ml cream

• Chocolate chips to sprinkle on top

Method:

Add the heavy cream to a large bowl. Using an electric mixer set to medium speed, beat until fluffy. If stiff peaks form, well and good. And if they don’t, it really makes no difference to the taste, just beat till it is light and fluffy.

Add coffee granules to hot water and stir to dissolve. Let cool completely.

Combine the condensed milk and coffee in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth.

Slowly pour in the condensed milk and coffee mixture and beat at medium speed until thickened.

Using a silicone spatula, gently scrap the sides and bottom of the bowl and mix as some cream can remain stuck to the bowl without mixing with the coffee mixture.

Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least six hours. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and enjoy!
