SWABI: Two young sisters were killed and their brother and grandmother injured in a village of Razaar tehsil when roof of their house caved in due to rain.

Officials of the district administration and police rushed to the site soon after the incident and took part in the rescue operation along with the local people.

The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Yar Hussain police station where roof of the mud house of Ibrahim Khan collapsed early in the morning when four inmates were sleeping.

Announcements were made on loudspeakers, calling on the people to participate in the rescue operation. The victims were identified as Aqsa Khan (15) and Savira Khan (11). Hamza, 18, suffered broken legs in the incident, while their grandmother was slightly injured. Activists of political parties have called upon the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to provide financial help to the poor family.
