LAHORE: India released 11 Pakistani prisoners, including a woman and a minor girl, as a goodwill gesture on Wednesday.
The Indian authorities handed over the prisoners to Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) officials at Wagah border.
Edhi Foundation officials served food, snacks and beverages to the repatriated prisoners.
Rangers later handed over all prisoners to the officials of Edhi Foundation who took them to the Edhi Home, a shelter, in Gulberg area.
