Moments after the Pakistan cricket team won the Champions Trophy after defeating India at the Oval, videos of celebrations poured in showing the team celebrating its victory.

Never really supported Pakistan team before. Not because of the politics but for their lack of approach on field. But boy oh boy, what a game. What a performance. I think everyone was shocked by David beating Goliath. I think even Indian players felt bad For us , Yet happy For us , can't play in IPL , can't play home matches , spot / match fixing issues , hardly anyone of our players playing county cricket , Or high level cricket ... quite an achievement indeed .

Seeing Kohli and Yuvraj laughing with Pakistani players sums up the true spirit of the game between the two sides. You fought on the field and afterwards you are friends. One team obviously has to lose, but accept defeat and move. Excellent by Kohli and Yuvraj. Wish people from both countries act the same way and get rid of animosity.

Gradually cricket is losing charm. Zimbabwe ,Kenya and other teams are not playing. Number of countries playing cricket is coming down. Congratulations MEN. It is outrageous that the men of the sporting teams and the military are called 'boys'. We need to grow out of the colonial mentality where the term 'boy' was used to put down people. Just like a 12 year old girl might address a 65 year old slave as 'boy' to 'keep him in his place'.
