MUZAFFARABAD: Two civilians were injured in shelling by the Indian troops in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, local officials said.

Qurban Hussain, 42, and Muhammad Suleman, 55, suffered injuries in Kotli Gujjran village of Samahni sector in the southernmost Bhimber district, Deputy Commissioner Chaudhry Guftar Hussain said.

Another official said that shelling also took place in Darra Sher Khan in Poonch district and Khuiratta sector in Kotli district, but no casualty was reported.
