RAWALPINDI: As many as fourteen international and domestic flights were either delayed or cancelled due to operational reasons at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Monday.

According to airport authorities, the departure of five flights, including three of PIA flights for Kabul, Manchester and Karachi were cancelled, while PIA flight from Birmingham, Kabul and Karachi were cancelled.

Likewise, PIA flight for Tokyo and Dammam and a private airlines flight for Karachi were delayed .

PIA spokesperson said the disruption in flights was due to poor load, searching of planes and some technical issues.
