LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif presided over a meeting here on Sunday which approved reforms in 40 hospitals of the province, installation of incinerators and set up Punjab Public Health Agency.
The chief minister also approved recommendations with regard to organizational structure and other affairs of the health agency.
He said the agency would work under the Primary & Secondary Health Department. “Since the role of this institution is of paramount importance, all the matters regarding its establishment should be settled at the earliest,” he directed officials concerned.
