GWADAR: Prof Abdul Razzaq Sabir, the vice chancellor of Turbat University, has lauded the commitment and efforts put in by the administration and faculty of the Gwadar campus in promotion of higher education in the area.

During a meeting of the Gwadar campus on Wednesday, he discussed matters related to progress and challenges faced during the completion of first academic semester, future programmes and other academic and extracurricular activities. He asked the authorities concerned to prepare a plan for starting certificate and diploma courses in port management, port handling and other market-oriented programmes for meeting the current challenges.

He announced that the Gwadar campus would soon be connected with the Pakistan Education and Research Network to provide faster internet access to students and faculty.
