Two teenagers drown

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Two youngsters drowned in Pat Feeder canal in Sobatpur district on Monday.

Police said two teenagers, Naveed Ahmed and Owais Ahmed, were bathing in the canal when they waded into deeper water and drowned.

Rescue workers along with police personnel rushed to the site but could not trace the bodies till late evening. The bodies were likely to be washed ashore due to high stream pressure from the Indus river, said the rescue workers.
