THE loadshedding problem has paralysed life for the residents of Naseem Nagar, Qasimabad. Besides, increasing theft of electricity by the inhabitants of Soomra Goth goes unnoticed.

Influential people residing in the village are involved in stealing electricity. Due to their unity, this group occasionally wards off Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) representatives by offering them bribes.

Even after looking at the paid bills, Hesco employees proceed to cut off the electricity connection.

The hot weather has made the lives of people miserable whereas businesses have been impacted on a large level. People suffer a host of problems due to water shortage. Students can’t study due to the loadshedding issue. The government needs to take strict action against all illegal connections.
