Eibad, Sabrina triumph

KARACHI: Talented Eibad Sarwar beat Abdullah 6-2, 3-1 in the mens singles while in the ladies singles, Sabrina beat Ashammal on the third day of the 2nd Pak Bahria Open Ranking & Inter Collegiate Tennis Championship at Karsaz on Tuesday.

Men’s singles (quarter-final): Eibad Sarwar bt Abdullah Khan 6-2, 3-1

U-11 (round robin): Mahatir Muhammad bt Ashmaal Khan 8-1

U-9 (round robin): Zain Ehtasham bt Hassan Jamal 8-5

Ladies’ singles (first round): Sabrina Khan bt Ashamaal 8-2

Soft tennis (round robin): Hassan Siddqui bt Saad Ahmed 5-3; Eibad Sarwar bt Saad Ahmed 5-2; Aqeel Shabbir bt Saaad Ahmed 5-0; Hassan Siddique bt M Usama Saeed 5-0; Aqeek Shabbir bt Usama Saeed 5-0.
