With their victory in the four-match Pakistan-West Indies T20 International series held in the Caribbean islands, the green shirts have been bumped up to the fourth position in the latest International Cricket Council's T20I rankings.
Pakistan previously ranked sixth in the list.
With a rating of 117 and 3,398 points, Pakistan, which won the series against West Indies 3-1, currently stand behind South Africa by a meager 8-points difference. England rank fifth on the chart after Pakistan by a 40-points margin.
West Indies, the reigning World T20 champions, now stand sixth in the ICC T20I rankings with 2,906 points and a rating of 112.
Since Pakistan did not win the series by 4-0, it failed to replace South Africa in the top three ranks.

Some Indians friends were comparing pakistan with Bangladesh team yesterday in one forum. I think it's bit unfortunate. You should give us some credit reviving sports in most unprecedented circumstances as no foreign team has toured for few years not counting Zimbabwe for obvious reasons...
All credit goes to Sarfaraz for bringing some spirit in the game minus usual politics and parchi

@Farjee
Home advantage is most important for every team. But don't you agree that UAE and Pakistan are almost similar in terms of pitches and home support.Despite having no home ground you enjoyed all its advantages in UAE.

@bharat : Really, so why do not you come and play since there is nothing like playing on the home ground in front of home crowd. That is what baffles me about Indians, they just cannot digest Pakistan progress in any form. Well, I got a news for you keep burning since it does not bother us at all

@concerned citizen dude spot on the jealous neighbors would make an issue out of thin air and make some vague justifications to back it up and taunt Pakistan....they say they are least bothered by Pakistan yet their behavior and the behavior of their politicians depict opposite like using Anti-Pakistan stance in election campaign blame Pakistan for even a fireworks

Don't get too excited. Batting is extremely poor. Scoring less than 140 against top teams is easily chaseable and you will lose most of the time with pathetic players like akmal brothers, Shehzad, hafeez, malik and other old seniors. Sharjeel and Khalid were the best players settled in, to play at modern standard cricket in the top order.
