LAHORE: A sessions court on Saturday granted an interim pre-arrest bail to suspects in the murder case of PPP leader Babar Sohail Butt.

The court granted the bail to Habib Butt and Shafqat Butt till April 1 and directed them to deposit surety bonds.

Previously, an anti-terrorism court had quashed the provision of anti-terrorism law from the FIR of the murder case and referred the matter to the sessions court.

DISMISSED: An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday dismissed the bail petition of a man involved in blackmailing girls on Facebook.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested suspect Muhammad Nabeel from Gujrat and recovered a large number of morphed pictures of girls from his laptop and mobile phone.
