KARACHI, July 25: Two persons died in separate road traffic accidents in different parts of the city on Friday.

Police said that Changiz Khan, 35, died while his wife Farah and two children were injured, when their vehicle (AC-2431) collided with a vehicle of Pakistan Air Force on Hub River Road.

All the injured persons were rushed to the nearby private hospital, however, they were later referred to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment. Changiz Khan died on his way to the hospital, while his wife and two children Ammar, 6, and Aziz, 8, were provided treatment at the JPMC.

In another accident, a motorcyclist was crushed to death beneath a speeding bus in Site.

Police said that motorcyclist Irshad Ahmed Ghori was knocked down to death by a speeding bus of route 1-E (JA-8572) near Habib Chowrangi.

ROBBED: A man was deprived of his valuables in Gulshan-i-Iqbal on Friday. Mr Latif-ur-Rehman, had parked his car outside Masjid-i-Faran, when he returned after offering Jumma prayers, he found his two briefcases missing containing important documents, NICs, driving licence, credit cards and mobile phone sets.
