Khuzdar bypass

Published March 4, 2017

FROM Khuzdar, National Highway 25 (N-25) leads north to Quetta and south to Karachi. It passes through the heart of Khuzdar city for about 20 kilometres and forms the main artery on which most rush hour traffic plies.

The city has also become a significant junction owing to CPEC. Traffic on N-25 has thus increased, as a result of which traffic accidents are now more frequent. Many feasibility surveys have been conducted for a bypass in the eastern part of the city.

I request the Balochistan government to initiate the scheme as soon as possible to reduce the traffic congestion on N-25.
