KARACHI: Eight horses are set to face the starter in The Sindh Cup when it takes place in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

The Sindh Cup, which is a new addition in the KRC racing calendar, will go over five furlongs in the combined scale order of V, VI and VII.

It is pertinent to mention that this is the eighth cup in the last two months.

A good number of 33 horses have entered the day’s programme barring any last minute withdrawal.

The fourth and concluding race which is also the feature event, combined scale order I and II, has attracted 10 horses.

According to schedule, the first race starts at 2.30pm.

THE SINDH CUP SCALE ORDER V, VI AND VII 5 F:

K. AL Arab 9-4, Shandar Love 9-2, Lady’s Secret 8-11, Sonia Again 8-8, Lovely Baby 8-2, The Great Arab 7-9, New Hope 7-8, Sea Gold 7-8. Win: New Hope. Place: K. AL Arab and Lady’s Secret.
