MARDAN: The board of governors of the Medical Teaching Institute Mardan Medical Complex on Thursday approved several health projects to improve and increase health facilities for visitors to the hospital.

The approval was given during a meeting chaired by board chairman Dr Syed Fazle Hadi and attended by Dr Hayamun, Dr Shahid Khattak, Dr Ghazna Siddique, Naeem Khan, Dr Mohammad Israr, Dr Tariq Mehmood and Dr Amir Khan.

The projects are cardiac centre, burns centre, physiotherapy centre, upgradation of nursing school to nursing college, construction of a hospital kitchen, establishment of library, and installation of a bank atm.
