CHAMAN: Senior officials of the Frontier Corps Balochistan on Sunday held a meeting with notables, tribal elders and local traders in the border town of Chaman and briefed them on the border situation and the agreements signed between the Afghan and Indian leaders in New Delhi recently.

FC Sector Commander Brig Nadeem and Col Osman recalled that tribal people living along the Pak-Afghan border had always played their due role in making the country’s defence stronger.

“Brave Pakhtun tribes are patriot and loyal to Pakistan and they are playing an important role in the development of the country,” they said.

Referring to recent developments, the officers vowed that conspiracies and nefarious designs against Pakistan would be foiled.
