LAHORE: Pakistan’s blind baseball team won their match against Italy 4-2 in the city of Brescia, Italy, according to the information released by the Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) here on Wednesday.

Saifullah, Imran, Sheraz and Saqib scored one run each for Pakistan.

Saifullah also excelled as fielder.

Syed Khawar Shah, the PFB president, said the victory against Italy was good news for all, citing it was the first ever-appearance of the national blind baseball team in an international match.

Noting all the players were talented who possessed the ability to make Pakistani nation proud in sports, Khawar said the team required good care and attention for them to make further progress.
