SARGODHA: Thunderstorm hit the city on Tuesday, uprooting several trees and billboards while a couple of roofs also caved in.

Electricity poles were also damaged, resulting in power shutdown for three hours across the city.

Several low-lying as well as posh areas like the University Road were inundated by rainwater which choked the sewerage system. Heavy billboards fell on the ground but luckily nobody was injured. However, two parked cars were damaged.
