PESHAWAR: The National Junior Age Group Squash Championship will commence at the PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex from July 18 under the aegis of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association.

Qamar Zaman, the president of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association and former world champion, said in a statement to APP on Tuesday that all arrangements had already been completed in expectation for a smooth sailing of the the championship.

Players from across the country would be participating from three different age group categories, U-11, U-13 and U-15, he added.

Zaman also mentioned that Mohammad Ammad is the top seed of the U-11 category as well as the current national U-11 champion. Asadullah is the top seed among the U-13s while Uzair Shoukat is the top seeded player of the U-15 category. All three players are currently part of the PAF Suqash Academy.\
