DERA GHAZI KHAN: PML-N MPA Mehmood Qadir Leghari along with his supporters on Monday staged a sit-in outside the Mepco office against loadshedding and overbilling in his constituency in Kot Chhuta tehsil.

The protesters were carrying lamps in their hands as mark of their protest against prolonged loadshedding in the holy month of Ramazan.

The MPA said that at least 18 hours of power loadshedding was being carried out in his constituency PP-246.

He said the people were badly suffering from loadshedding as no betterment could be brought about even after three years.

“Those who are giving “all is well” report to the leadership are not the well-wishers of the PML-N,” he said.

He said overbilling in utility bills and long hours of power outages could create unrest among the masses.
