RAWALPINDI The runway of Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIAP) will remain closed for three hours daily from March 10 to March 23 for operational reasons at specific hours during the day.

The closure days and timings will be March 10 from 8am to 11am and 1pm to 3pm while from March 14 to 22 from 8am till 11am and 1pm till 3pm and on March 23 from 8am to 11am, said a Civil Association Authority (CCA) spokesman on Wednesday.

CAA has informed to all the airlines about the closure of runway at the Islamabad airport. Airlines have made adjustment to their flight schedule accordingly, the statement said.

Passengers should confirm their flight timing from their respective airlines before coming to the airport, it added.
