Quetta traffic problem

Published February 15, 2016

THE traffic situation in Quetta is terrible, made worse by narrow and damaged roads. Often it causes problems for ambulances.

It is pathetic that not a single traffic signal works properly in Quetta. Moreover, traffic police instead of fining vehicles parked on no parking zones are mostly busy in fining poor rickshaw drivers and motorcylists.

Small 12-seater rickshaws need to be introduced like they have been in other cities of Pakistan.

I request the government of Balochistan and the traffic police to look into all these issues.
