Young Nawaz determined to perform

ISLAMABAD: Emerging player of Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Mohammad Nawaz has said he is determined to give his finest performance in the upcoming World T20.

Talking to PTV Sports, Nawaz expressed joy on being part of the national side, adding that it was a dream of every player to represent his country.

“I have been performing well in domestic cricket and now in PSL. I was optimistic to be included in the national team after showing good performance in first two or three matches of the PSL,” he said.

He hoped to continue his performance in upcoming T20 tournament in India.

“My family and friends are very happy on my inclusion in the national cricket team and are praying for my success,” he added. To a query he said observers were not giving due importance to Quetta Gladiators before the PSL but he was confident that the team would perform.
