Let’s change

Published November 30, 2015

WE have often heard a lot about the word ‘change’ in our surroundings. I wonder how we wish to bring about that change. I wonder how we personify that change. It seems rather a fairy tale to wish about everything becoming positive and that nothings stay bad or negative in this whole wide world. Why not just stop dreaming and start doing something to bring that change? Why not proceed to become the change ourselves? Why not just stop wishing for others to change but not ourselves?

Let’s take a step towards that change. Let’s try spending a few hours with our parents and siblings on a regular basis. Let’s try to share whatever we cook with our neighbour. Let’s try to clean our street right after we finish cleaning our own home. Let’s try to help a needy. Let’s try to bring a smile to an orphan’s face. Let’s try to go and spend some time with people at old people’s homes. Let’s take out a few moments to thank our subordinates for their services. Let’s be kind to waiters, car washers and mechanics.

Let’s help a homeless. Let’s try to communicate with a depressed person. Let’s try to gift some books to a student who cannot afford them. Let’s help an elderly person cross the road. Let’s follow traffic rules. Let’s try to be kind. Let’s try to spread happiness. Let’s try to change one individual that is yourself and you will see the world changing.
