Loudspeakers

Published November 27, 2015

I AM writing to express my concern over the insensitive use of loudspeakers. It has become a nuisance in our city. The most annoying thing is that during every function and even during small birthday parties, there must be a loudspeaker without which it’s not even considered a celebration or a festival.

Noise pollution in the city has increased over the past few years because of advancement in technology, but people nowadays tend to use loudspeakers over and above the limit.

People are unable to sleep peacefully while youths are not able to concentrate on their studies because of the noise pollution.

IT is time the authorities concerned took urgent action and restored peace to the city.
