Imran-Reham divorce

Published November 26, 2015

IMRAN Khan has requested that his privacy be respected in the aftermath of his divorce with Reham Khan.

In my point of view, Imran is an important political figure and also a national hero. He should realise that his personal life will be discussed by and in the media and he should be prepared.

Secondly, Imran and Reham should respect their privacy themselves if they do not want people to comment on their personal lives. Imran and Reham gave statements and tweeted about their divorce and other personal matters. This provided the people and media an opening to pry in their affairs. In an interview on Nov 19, Reham Khan gave the reasons of her failed marriage. Then her tweet on Nov 21 said that she was still depressed on her divorce.

If Imran and Reham really want the media to respect their privacy then they should avoid all such outbursts.

Moreover, keeping in view the attitude of our society, the media should discuss the news about anyone’s personal life in a decent and acceptable manner without hurting their feelings.
