ISLAMABAD: In the second phase of anti-adulteration campaign, the capital administration has turned to canteens of private and government educational institutions, sources told Dawn.

Besides, the officials have also started examining their (educational institutions) security.

The officials said their food department’s team would visit the canteens of the schools to ascertain whether they offered standard edible products.

Besides, the drinking water available at the canteens will also be examined, the officials said. The teams will also inspect washrooms.

The washrooms in government schools are in a pathetic condition. Taps in most washrooms are out of order and the drainage system is choked.
