KARACHI: The semi-finals of the Horlicks Inter-school tennis tournament were organized by Perfect Strokes on Saturday at the Karachi Gymkhana. A number of keenly contested matches were witnessed in both age groups of Under-15 and 16-18 years category.

In the Under-15 ties, Karachi Grammar School overcame Beaconhouse School System II in straight sets in their respective matches while Foundation Public School edged past CAS.

In the 16-18 age group, Nixor College conquered the Beaconhouse School System after an exhaustive match, a battle in which players from both teams gave it their all.

Karachi Grammar School prevailed over Bayview College in straight sets.

The finals of this exciting inter-school tournament will be held on Sunday (today) at 1:30pm at Karachi Gymkhana. Legendary hockey player Sohail Abbas will be the chief guest on the occasion and distribute the prizes.
