QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said that the extraordinary economic and political changes taking place from South Asia to Central Asia will pave the way for durable peace and prosperity in the region, especially in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

He was talking to UNHCR representatives who called on him here on Thursday to discuss problems being faced by Afghan refugees and their return to Afghanistan.

The governor said that repatriation of Afghan refugees was a difficult and serious issue and it needed continuous joint efforts for creating conducive environment.
