The Brazilian novelist, world-famous for writing 'The Alchemist', recently tweeted his appreciation of Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer My Name Is Khan, referring to the romantic drama as 'the best film he saw this year':

MNIK director Karan Johar wasted no time in accepting Coelho's compliment.

In response, Coelho lamented the delay in accessing cultural products from the East, to which Shah Rukh Khan, always the hero, offered to facilitate Coelho's new-found penchant for Bollywood.

It's true what they say about the arts bridging divides, and also social media, which has brought the world closer than ever.
