KARACHI: Pakistan face Indonesia in the semifinals of the Davis Cup Asia Oceania Group two tie at Jakarta hard courts on Tuesday (today).

Ace tennis player Aqeel Khan will be Pakistan’s main hope against Indonesia in the absence of the prolific Aisam-ul-Haq who is nursing an injured knee.

Aqeel is drawn to play the first match (0730am PST) while Samir Iftikhar will face Indonesian number one in the next match.

The third member of Pakistan team is Abid Ali Akbar while veteran Hameed ul Haq is the captain of the team. Pakistan’s Davis Cup team arrived in Jakarta last week and has had continuous training sessions at the venue since.
