TAXILA: A young woman was allegedly gang-raped by six people in village Malhi in Hassanabdal police area on Monday.

In her complaint to the police, she alleged that a milk shop owner and his friends raped her. She alleged that they also made a video of the incident.

The police after preliminary medical examination of the woman at tehsil headquarters hospital registered a case against nine persons. The police also claimed they had arrested one of the accused.

Talking to newsmen, the woman alleged that Wah Saddar and Hassanabdal police were reluctant to register a case due to jurisdiction issue. Hassanabdal police, however, registered a case after 12 hours.
