TAXILA: Emir of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Siarjul Haq will address a public meeting at Taxila on March 13.

This was stated by JI Taxila chapter chief Khawja Waqar advocate  at a press conference on Thursday.

He said that the people, fed up with the leadership of two major parties, were looking towards JI as an alternative.

He said the public meeting would set alarm bells ringing for those who came to power with people’s votes but failed to address their problems.

He said they had left their voters in the lurch as they failed to fulfill their promises made to them during elections.

He said their workers would visit door-to-door to mobilise public for the meeting.
