GWADAR: A mosque was damaged in a rocket attack in Tump area of Kech district on Tuesday.

Levies officials said the rockets were fired at an FC post but one of them hit the town’s main mosque. “The rocker hit the roof of the mosque, damaging a portion of it,” Levies officials said.

An exchange of fire between security personnel and the attackers was also reported. The other rockets fired by the attackers exploded in the open area.

The security forces launched a search operation in the area after the incident.
